International Relations

The International Cooperation Department at the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University) serves as the university’s strategic gateway to the global academic community, fostering strong partnerships with leading institutions, research centers, and international organizations worldwide. As one of the university’s most progressive and rapidly developing divisions, the department plays a key role in strengthening the quality of education, scientific research, innovation, and sustainable development through meaningful international collaboration.


The department actively works to expand cooperation with global partners through joint research initiatives, academic mobility programmes, exchange opportunities, international conferences, and capacity-building projects. Green University has already established cooperation with respected institutions from USA, UK, China, Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Indonesia, Turkiye, UAE, Malaysia, and others and participates in major international programmes including the European Union funded Erasmus+.


The mission of the department is to provide students, researchers, and academic staff with access to global opportunities that promote cross-cultural understanding, professional growth, academic excellence, and practical solutions to pressing environmental and climate challenges. Through international engagement, the department contributes to positioning Green University as a regional leader in sustainability education and climate action across Central Asia.
