Youth Day
Celebrating young leaders, creativity, and civic engagement on campus.
Celebrations & programme
Each year the university organises a dynamic programme around Youth Day, including:
- welcome and orientation activities for new cohorts
- cultural performances and national traditions
- intellectual games, quizzes, and creative competitions
- seasonal gatherings, film discussions, and volunteer drives
These events create a welcoming atmosphere where students celebrate together and build lasting memories.
Student initiatives
Students take the lead in shaping Youth Day through eco-campaigns, peer mentoring, and collaboration with clubs and youth organisations — connecting learning with real impact.
Initiatives connect classroom learning with real impact — from sustainability to social inclusion.
Culture & sport
A healthy and active lifestyle is encouraged through:
- university sports clubs and friendly competitions
- team activities that build unity and leadership
- reading clubs, debates, and weekly creative challenges
Culture and sport together help students stay balanced, motivated, and connected.
Dialogue & leadership
Open communication is central to Youth Day:
- dialogues with university leadership and guest speakers
- student-led discussions and idea-sharing sessions
- joint activities with partner institutions and alumni
This inclusive approach ensures that students are heard, supported, and empowered to lead with purpose.
Our mission on Youth Day
Youth Day at Green University is a highlight of the academic year — recognising student energy, organising meaningful events, and strengthening bonds between students, faculty, and the wider community.
Through festivals, dialogues, sports, and cultural activities, every student is encouraged to take part, share ideas, and grow with confidence and responsibility.
